Refurbishments
Technological advancements in private aviation aircraft designs lead the way in aeronautical development. The sector is constantly pushing the envelope and innovations come to market ahead of the commercial aerospace sector.
Refits are an important and necessary part of jet ownership, from full interior transformations, including configuration changes, to engine or avionics updates and maintenance upgrades. We‘ll provide expert advice on planning and executing a smart refit to help you create a personalized jet equipped with the latest developments. We partner with leading interior design and specialist engineering firms for this work and any projects undertaken will be managed to match your cost, quality and timing parameters. Work will be carried out at a strategically selected and/or convenient FBO or possibly the MRO or completions company location.
Refits
Aircraft completion fit-outs or upgrades are provided by MROs (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul firms). Qualified MROs have the experience and knowledge to transform an aircraft interior by designing, developing and installing a refurbishment that makes your vision a reality. Their designers, design engineers and installation team will work with you to identify the potential of your aircraft. Many MRO facilities have the ability to also supply line and heavy maintenance, as well as paint or livery work all under one roof which minimizes Aircraft on Ground (AOG) time.
Refurbishments
The refurbishment process may include cabin reconfigurations, avionics upgrades and custom paint finishes, cabinetry, upholstery, soft goods and IT connectivity.
Our selected MRO will accomplish all your refurbishment needs through skilled technicians, dedicated customer support and meticulous attention to detail—delivering quality craftsmanship throughout.
Completions
Our completions partners have fitted out hundreds of airframes and are highly experienced in the engineering, design and certification processes needed to create stunning and practical aircraft interiors. A multi-disciplined team of craftsmen, designers, engineering team and installation technicians will all be working seamlessly together managed by a highly experienced program manager. The team will include skilled upholsterers, cabinetry experts, refinishers, metal workers, structural technicians, electrical installers, avionics technicians, engineers, and paint specialists.
Your interior design may be provided by the MRO or a separate specialist consultant. We can introduce you to a number of award-winning creative firms. The design team will develop 3D structural and graphic renderings of interior aircraft components and exterior schemes supported by mood boards and material finish sample swatches.
All work is quality assured and certified to meet regulatory and production requirements.
Avionics
The avionics systems of a modern aircraft provide navigation, communications, safety, security and connectivity management for the pilot and crew. The MRO will be licensed to test equipment for quick and accurate fault analysis and repair of avionics malfunctions on board the aircraft. Avionics work may include upgrading and integrating flight decks, cabin management systems, and in-flight entertainment systems to keep your aircraft compliant, safe and secure.
Paint
Your aircraft’s paint finish is your preference—whether inspired by practicality or personality or both—and will be conceived and applied meticulously from the initial preparation to the polished finish.
From minor registration changes to full custom graphic paint schemes the design team will assist, advise and recommend colors, livery schemes, and coatings to achieve the required protection and impact and include the use of environmentally-friendly products.
Special mission conversion
You may be equipping your aircraft for a special mission whereby the aircraft is enhanced to perform in a role beyond the capability of its original specifications. The platform will be sympathetically modified in order that any adaptations to space, range, equipment, payload result in an individual airframe designed to fulfill its special mission without undue compromise of the manufacturers’ originality.
